Simple design, designed in New Zealand and manufactured in New Zealand. Proven use over many years. Used by many bed frame manufacturers. Accepts 53mm wide slats and slat thicknesses up to 10mm. Usually fitted to a timber cleat of 70mm x 30mm running along the inside facing of bed frame sides boards. Top Fitting into holes of 9.5mm diameter and 13mm depth. Spaced apart at the discretion of the manufacturer to fit specific bed frame sizes. Frequently spaced apart at 100mm or 110mm pin centres. Regular fittings for beds are 15 or 16 rows per side of a bed with centrre rail. Can be fitted back-to-back on a timber centre rail.
